Divergent Solutions LLC · Las Vegas

The room is the product.

Divergent Solutions is a Las Vegas company that plans, markets and advertises private brand experiences for luxury, automotive, hospitality and enterprise clients. We build the small rooms where business is actually agreed, and the campaigns around them that make those rooms worth entering.

01 · Philosophy

A convention gets you the meeting. A private room gets you the signature.

Most brand spending in Las Vegas buys proximity to a crowd. A badge scan on a trade floor is forgotten by dinner. A booth demonstration lasts twelve minutes, standing. An open bar in a ballroom buys volume with no control over who is in it or what they remember. These are the first three rungs of a ladder, and most companies never climb higher.

We are hired for the top two rungs. A curated dinner where our client sets the seating. A suite, by invitation, where terms are discussed with the people who can agree to them. The difference is not budget. It is intent. The room is designed backwards from the conversation it needs to hold.

That is the whole philosophy. Every discipline on this page, from the invitation design to the film delivered afterwards, exists to make one controlled room more valuable than a thousand uncontrolled impressions.

02 · The Proximity Ladder

We score every format by how close it brings a brand to a decision. Five rungs, from forgettable to final.

  1. 15Badge scan, trade floorForgotten by dinner.
  2. 30Booth demonstration, show floorTwelve minutes, standing.
  3. 50Open bar, ballroomVolume, with no control.
  4. 80Curated dinner, private roomYou set the seating.
  5. 100The suite, invitation onlyWhere terms are agreed.

Most brands buy the first three. We build the last two.

03 · Who the Room Is For

A private room only works if the right four groups are in it. We plan the guest list before anything else.

Economic buyers.

The people with authority to commit. Identified by name, invited personally, seated deliberately.

Existing clients.

The relationships that compound. A room that honors them renews them.

Your own team.

Leadership and the people who carry the relationship forward on Monday morning.

Partners and press.

The brands and voices that lend the evening weight and carry it beyond the walls.

04 · Who We Work With

We work in three configurations, and we are comfortable being invisible in all of them.

Brands, directly.

Luxury houses, automotive dealers and groups, hospitality operators and enterprise companies that want a presence in Las Vegas built around their clients rather than around a booth. We take the brief from the marketing lead and deliver the evening, the campaign and the content as one engagement.

Agencies and destination management companies.

We serve as the local planning and advertising arm for agencies that hold the client relationship. Our work carries their name. We know the venues, the labor rules and the calendar, and we are built to make an out-of-town agency look like it has been here for twenty years.

Account-based programs.

For companies running account-based marketing, we are the Las Vegas layer. A named target account is coming to town. We design the private room, the introductions and the follow-through specifically for that account, as part of their marketing plan rather than their events budget.

05 · The Las Vegas Thesis

Someone else has already paid for the flight.

Las Vegas hosts more major conventions than any other city in the United States. Each one is, in effect, a chartered flight for a brand's pipeline. The buyers a company most wants to reach are flown in, housed and gathered within a few square miles for a week, at no cost to the brand.

The usual response is to rent space on the show floor and compete for attention with everyone else who had the same idea. Our response is to step off the program. A restaurant held privately on the busiest night. A suite that needs no venue minimum. Branded transport waiting at the badge doors. A sixteen-seat table. A recovery brunch the morning after, when the real conversations happen. These satellite formats can run alone or be stacked across a single week.

The economics are simple. The convention concentrates the audience and absorbs the travel. The brand pays only for the room that converts.

06 · The Arc of an Engagement

A private evening is the visible moment in a campaign that runs for most of a year. This is the shape of it.

  1. T minus 60 days

    The pre-build

Partners signed, venue locked, the story and its angles mapped.

  2. T minus 30 days

    The street tape

Interviews and content filmed on location, seeding the audience early.

  3. T minus 14 days

    The heat

Tiered invitations and selective giveaways build demand for a room that cannot be bought into.

  4. Event week

    The satellite

Off-program rooms around the main event, with none of the show-floor tax.

  5. The night

    The handshake

A small number of seats, no badges, and the conversations the whole campaign was built for.

  6. T plus 180 days

    The long tail

Six months of film, photography and written content released on a schedule, so one evening keeps working.

07 · Capabilities

Every discipline below is kept in-house or under direct supervision. Nothing is handed to a vendor we have not worked beside.

Strategy and guest architecture.

Who should be in the room, why, and how they are invited. The plan comes before the venue.

Event design and creative.

Invitations, flyers, signage and the visual identity of the evening, designed as a single system.

Advertising and marketing.

Pre-event campaigns, social content, outreach and the heat that makes an invitation feel earned.

Industry outreach and partnerships.

Introductions to local businesses, civic leaders and partner brands, and the assembly of partner slates around an evening.

Event planning and coordination.

Venue, timeline, vendors, labor and the run of show, planned to the minute and held to it.

Photography and film.

Professional photography and edited film, delivered as a release schedule rather than a folder.

High-touch programs.

Custom gifting, hosted interviews, industry recognition moments and the small personal gestures that guests remember.

On-site team.

Our people present from load-in to last guest, so the client's team is free to be hosts rather than managers.

08 · Principles

How we conduct ourselves is as much the product as what we build. Five commitments, in plain language.

Discretion first.

We do not post our clients' events, publish galleries or trade on names. Our proof is shared privately, one to one, after a conversation. We modeled this on private aviation and family offices, where the client is the story and the operator is not.

One number.

We quote a single figure for the outcome, not a menu. Venue, technical and labor costs pass through transparently at or near cost. Our fee is for judgment, access and creative, and we are comfortable saying so.

The brief before the budget.

We ask how many events an organization runs in a year before we design one. The answer usually changes the shape of the engagement, and often its value to the client.

Agency-safe.

When we work beneath an agency, the agency owns the relationship and the credit. We do not contact their client directly, during or after.

Built here.

Seventeen years in this city means we know which venues keep their word, which crews show up, and which nights of the calendar are quietly the best ones.

The Company

We take on a small number of engagements each year and build each one around the room it is meant for.

Divergent Solutions LLC is led by Sancho Van Ryan, an Australian-born event planner and marketer with seventeen years in Las Vegas and more than 250 events across five countries. The company works at the intersection of luxury brands, private clientele and the city's hospitality world, and prefers to be judged by the rooms it has built rather than by what it says about them.
